Thilam
Thiamethoxam 12.6% +
Lambda-Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC
Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda-Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC is a broad-spectrum, dual-action insecticide formulated as a ZC (Zeon Capsule) suspension. It combines a systemic neonicotinoid (Thiamethoxam) with a pyrethroid (Lambda-Cyhalothrin) to provide both rapid knockdown and extended residual protection against a wide range of sucking and chewing pests. This blend offers contact, stomach, and systemic activity, making it effective in protecting crops throughout early and mid-season pest pressure.
Dual action insecticide: Systemic (Thiamethoxam) + Contact/Stomach (Lambda-Cyhalothrin).
Broad spectrum control of sucking and chewing insect pests.
ZC formulation for improved rainfastness and extended release.
Rapid knockdown with long residual protection.
Helps reduce viral disease vectors by controlling sap-feeding pests.
Suitable for a variety of crops including cotton, maize, groundnut, soybean, chilli, tea, and tomato.
Best applied at early pest detection with proper spray coverage.
Follow safety precautions to protect applicators and non-target organisms.
Dual-Mode Action
Systemic action (Thiamethoxam): absorbed into plant tissues and translocated, protecting new growth and feeding insects.
Contact & stomach action (Lambda-Cyhalothrin): provides fast knockdown of pests on contact or ingestion.
→ The combination targets pests via different biochemical pathways, helping reduce resistance and broaden control.
Broad-Spectrum Insect Control
Effective against sucking pests (aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips) and chewing pests (bollworms, stem/leaf borers, fruit borers) on many crops.
ZC (Capsule Suspension) Formulation
Better rainfastness and controlled release, ensuring longer residual control even after light rainfall.
Promotes uniform dispersion and adherence on foliage.
Quick Knockdown + Extended Protection
Rapid pest paralysis and death helps reduce crop damage quickly.
Systemic activity contributes to lasting protection (often ~10–15 days), lowering spray frequency.
Crop Vigor & Health Benefits
Many users observe improved crop greenness and branching, likely due to reduced pest stress.
Controlling vector pests may also help reduce virus transmission.
