Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG is a water-soluble granular insecticide containing 5 % active ingredient designed to control a wide range of caterpillar and borer pests in agricultural and horticultural crops. It works primarily as a stomach poison with contact and translaminar action, meaning it not only affects insects that feed on treated foliage but also penetrates leaf tissues to reach hidden larvae. Affected larvae typically stop feeding within hours and die within 2–4 days after exposure.
