Hiamethoxam 30% FS is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide in a flowable concentrate (FS) formulation, mainly designed for seed treatment. It belongs to the neonicotinoid class, acting on the insect nervous system by disrupting nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to cessation of feeding, paralysis, and eventual death of pests. When applied as a seed treatment, it protects seedlings from early-season biting, sucking, leaf-feeding, and soil pests, resulting in healthier crop establishment and improved yields.
