Dual Mode of Action

• Contact action (Captan 70%): Works on the plant surface to prevent fungal spores from germinating and stops external disease development.

• Systemic action (Hexaconazole 5%): Penetrates plant tissues and moves within the plant to inhibit ergosterol biosynthesis (critical for fungal cell membranes), stopping existing fungal infections from spreading internally.
  ✔ Combined, these provide protective, curative, and eradicative effects against many fungal pathogens.

Wettable Powder (WP) Formulation

• Easily dispersible in water for uniform spray coverage.

• Low dust and easy to handle in mixing tanks.

• Suitable for use with standard spraying equipment (knapsack, battery, or power sprayers). 

 Protective & Residual Activity

• The contact portion (Captan) stays on the leaf surface, forming a protective barrier.

• The systemic portion (Hexaconazole) protects new growth after application.

• Shows good rainfastness and extended protection, reducing the frequency of sprays.

 Resistance Management

The combination of two different fungicidal mechanisms helps delay resistance development in fungal populations compared with single-mode fungicides.
